LSU Athletic Department Posts $12MM profit with football leading the way with $40-55MM profit

I figured I'd post this here. I know academics decry the amount of money and attention lavished on athletic departments at universities, but there are only a handful of Athletic Departments that are not subsidized by the affiliated university, and we have one of them.

I wish our Alumni donated more to academics, but that's their money and they can do with it as they please.
