How? Has Trump done something to the gay community? Has Trump done anything to women? Trump is the most pro gay President on day one to ever enter the white house. Sure Odrama lit up the house in rainbows but he was against gay marriage in his first term.

I guess I'm guilty of this. There is NO WAY I would associate with anyone or be friends with anyone that voted for Trump. I know a few people that I think may have voted for him but we don't discuss politics because it would end our friendship if that did come out.

Yep. With that one statement Toddy just became the most indefensible poster on this board. He's so enlightened though.

Did people end friendships with you when you came out? How did that make you feel? This line of thinking by you makes you no better than the homophobes you rail against everyday on here. I don't know you at all but I know I would dislike you as a person and it has nothing to do with you being gay, it has to do with your narrow mindedness, that makes you an ugly human and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I can't think of a single political issue we agree on, but we're as close as friends can be. Your party is rapidly becoming the party of intolerance. Surely you see that. Your attitude, and the attitude of others like you, is going to get Trump re-elected. I hope you read the NY Times article I linked.

I feel this way about people who talk about politics casually. I don't want them in my real life. I don't care who you voted for or why, I care how you treat people.
