Thoughts on whether it will be a sell-out, or will tickets be readily available?
Posted on 2/20/17 at 11:51 am to LSURussian
Wow that sucks. Got any tix?

A stadium like UNO does not hold a lot and the New Orleans fans usually turn out.
If you don't have tickets I would get there early.
Of course with weather that may keep the crowd down as well.
Tulane usually sells out.
The annual game at the Zephyrs field is usually an easier ticket.

quote:Nah, that's how I found out it's a sell out. Maestri field only has 800 seats in the grandstand according to the UNO baseball website. The venue does have some bleacher seating as well and it looks like there is quite a bit of standing room along the fence lines but their website says "Sold Out."

Can you still sit on the levee in the outfield or is that gone?

I went over there around noon. They aren't selling tix at the box office by the stadium. I was directed to the athletic admin office which is in a bldg. across the street from CVS and Rouses. All they had were general admission tix - $15 each. BTW the stadium seats approx. 2200.

Yeah, GA is still available on their website

It's going to be televised so you can sit in front on your big screen ,put your feet up, pop a Corona and see everything a lot better then the levee or bleachers

Anyone know the deal with parking around the stadium? I'm not familiar with the campus and looking at Google maps it seems they have a couple grass lots towards the lakefront.

That's not really parking, most baseball parking is at the first gate on the Leon C. Simon side of the ball park.
Big grass fields are track work out area, and local H.S. lacrosse practice fields. Doesn't drain well, either.

Is there actual seating for the GA? I have never been to a game there.

I have no idea. Neither have I. I just checked out their website yesterday and saw that Gen Admission tickets were available. No clue what that means though.
