it's even worse for guys who have tough luck with girls

they just get angry and try to get better at what they've been doing, which obviously isn't working, instead of expanding themselves and finding new areas to reach competency in. girls want to see a guy be good at different stuff and be adventurous and try new things with them so they can both work on it together

in relationships too many people just get over the initial hump and then both get into their own patterns and after a period of time it gets stale and minds wander. and yeah usually that complacency means they neglect keeping themselves in shape or interesting otherwise and it becomes stale

humans didn't evolve to conquer the world b/c we're complacent. we took over the world b/c we were always curious and always interested in new things or new areas and using our wits to get there. when you become a complete creature of habit, you lose that and your value as a human becomes decimated

I really need to work on this. I don't really have any "hobbies" other than saltwater fishing and I might be taking a job in a landlocked state.
