You basically set it up, make sure it is working right and then come back in an hour. It is something like 5 minutes of actual work.
I'm sure youtube can walk me through it I guess.

Turn off the heater (or put it in descale mode, if it has that), shut off the water valves, connect the pump and outflow hose, fill the bucket with your vinegar or descale solution, turn the pump on and make sure the outflow hose is spitting back into the bucket.
Youtube has some good videos with easier to follow steps.
