Good god warner bros. Just fricking nuke the whole damn DCEU after WW and Justice League, sell the franchise to a competent studio and make a pretty penny off of it.

I'd rather not have a guy who has openly shite on comic based films in the past direct a comic movie.
That's begging for an end result that will massively turn off the built in fanbase which leads to lesser box office returns. It's not like there are any real world examples they could draw that conclusion from. The worlk by Josh Trank and Zack Snyder never happened amirite?

I think that would be awesome, the story and plot would be AIR tight. I can't say much for the visual though, I don't think Mel have the experience to incorporate that comic book feel to the movie.
Like most comic book movies are able to make you not think too much on the costume. But with Mel, I think he would make it seem weird that people's wearing costumes.

I know that Gibson is a "monster", but whenever I read the transcription of his racist, misogynist, homophobic rant, I giggle when it gets to the part where he calls the female cop "sugar tits".
