Why do we have such deference to the Judiciary?

We need a judicial system but how is we just think a handful of mostly appointed judges are somehow above the rest of us?

Who is really the most powerful person in government? The Pres or a single swing vote judge on the SC?

The same reason we trust pharmacists.

No really good reason.

Judicial immunity shouldn't exist.

The same people who clamor about 3 equal branches of government and have no problem with a senator bashing the president, soil their pants if the president criticizes a judge.

They are equal. They are all subject to criticism.

Completely hypocritical.

I don't think we have deference for the judicial system any longer and TBH they don't deserve they used to have.....politics has fricked the judicial system up.

The same can be said for every branch and level of government. We've given government unearned power.

Neither should be the most powerful, but clearly it's the president.

The process to remove most judges is ridiculous.

Look at Trudy White for example. Judge's should not be politically appointed and they should all be subject to being voted into or out of office based on their performance.

There isn't one.

That's the point.

Founding fathers didn't put enough checks on the courts, so they were able to insert themselves into things that are not their pervue
