No it didn't. It's just a stupid point. The media obsessed over a lot of dumb things that any discerning human can just ignore. This isn't some dumb "gotcha" thing like whatever the Nordstrom thing is.

There was a daily thread on there for Wikileaks for months, but now that the leaks are not helping your cause, they need to be scalped eh?

If I were Trump, I'd have called the rushed-up Obama/Prog/McCain *investigation* and sanctions bull&%&^%, and pledged to handle the whole thing after assuming Office.
How do you know he didn't call it bullshite and had Flynn call the Russian ambassador 5 times on the same day the sanctions were implemented? What makes you think this wasn't planned already? 3-D chess and all...

So you mean, in other words, what you've been doing since Nov 8?

hmm, im not sure if you serious in your post.

Ive been having fun since Nov8 pointing out the utter stupidity of Trump and Trumpkins alike thinking this conman could govern. Its been an absolute joy watching, commenting , every single day for the last 3 months on the utter stupidity you idiots drag your dicks thru to defend the lord of Marmalade.

The REAL problem going forward, are the MOLES/LEAKERS in the Security Department. Leaking from there is a CRIMINAL offense, and he should put out a bounty for a scalp, and take somebody down for this. Because if he don't, the leaks to undermine his Administration will not go away.

Flynn got caught up in hardball politics and fell on his sword. We lose a lot of good people. Whoopee. Root out the Leakers and hang em'...or pay forward.

The REAL problem going forward is that we have a president who was an outstanding businessman but is a fricking amateur when it comes to governing.

Sure, Trump needs to ferret out the leakers. But are we going to start acting like the libtard pussies who get so hysterical about the fact that DNC emails were hacked and conveniently ignore the substance of the hacks? I'm less concerned about the leaks than I am what's being leaked. If it takes leaks for us to learn that the White House is being run by the Three fricking Stooges, then so be it. When an avowed Trump supporter like Laura Ingraham calls the roll out of the travel EO "not their finest hour", you know that even a supporter like her thought it was a cluster frick.

Oh...and Flynn didn't merely get "caught up in hardball politics and fall on his sword." He fricking lied to the Vice-President and rightly got fired. There was more than enough in his background tp prevent him from ever having been hired to begin with. And why was he hired? The answer is in my first sentence.

I support pretty much every policy Trump has put in place so far. What I'm getting sick and tired of is the fricking amateur show at the White House. Trump needs some close advisors who actually know something about governing and listen to what they say. And stay the hell off Twitter.

Very likely he did, Yak. No different that Obama being caught saying "Tell Putin I'll have more flexibility after the election". That is the way it's played.

Apparently Flynn either didn't realize his call would be on tape, or that even if it was, it would not be outed.

Bottom line. There are going to be Bureaucratic insiders who are going to monitor and leak on Trump to undermine his Policy...and those who will monitor to support it. That is Bank. The issue forward for Trump is to what degree he slams those who oppose him and supports those who don't. It is Obama's "punish your enemies and reward your friends" to a T. And it is exactly why and what those of us who supported Trump...EXPECT. They hit below the belt. Either we do also...or we lose. Period. The old days of honesty are over. It's like one of the other Posters said...it will take something monumental to bring us back together.

This is the Lefts Benghazi moment. Some fricked up things happened, and nothing will come of it.

I still want to hear spicer or Trump, or better yet Pences comments on this.

Really, you don't remember the Tea Party or Mitch McConnell declaring even prior to Obama’s inauguration that there would be no cooperation? Or is it more that you think its unfair for Dems to use the same playbook?

It's not the same playbook. Flynn didn't break the law. He fricked up. He resigned/forced to resign.

What more do you want?

Look, I'm no super partisan (though I in no way deny my extreme dislike of Trump), but I find it hilarious that people on this board, of all places, seem so aghast at the response from the left here.

I know you'll claim it's apples to oranges, and that's your perogative, but if something even REMOTELY similar to this scenario happened in the Obama administration (or, heaven forbid, Clinton's had she been elected), this board would be calling for never ending investigations and claiming corruption breathlessly for years.

And that totally ignores all of the other unsubstantiated claims regarding Russia that are winding their way through and around the administration.

I'm not making any defacto statements about the legitimacy of those claims, but for the far right members of the poli board here to act so self righteous and surprised at the lefts response to a senior member of the president's staff having shady discussions with a foreign government that potentially undermined the current admin's actions is absolutely hilarious. I think half this board would stroke out if the shoe were on the other foot.

The leap from the first part to the second is quite large.

There's a big difference. The right went after politicians that were in office and chose to stay in office. Do you think there would have been a huge investigation of Hillary, as SOS, if she would have resigned? I'm going to say no.

If you are in office, you should be investigated. If you resign, thats the end goal of an investigation anyways.

Thats my point. What more do you want? Do you want Flynn buried beneath the jail? Thats about all that is left to do.

How?

Even Repubs admitted the Benghazi dust-up was nonsense. There were multiple Republican led hearing that resulted in zero consequences...because the whole thing was a sham.

THIS led to Trump demanding the resignation of a key administration member because he admittedly violated the Logan Act. Today, multiple GOP senators are calling for an investigation.

Flynn didn't decide, on his own, to violate the Logan Act. He was told to do it. This is all tied in with the Russia having Trump by the balls, which is why he won't release his taxes.

Both incidents are a lot of hooplah for nothing. Thats how it is the same.

The right made a big deal over Benghazi. Nothing came from it except speculation. The left is making a big deal over this, nothing will come from it except one resignation.

Dont read too much into it.

There are GOP senators calling for an investigation. This is obviously just another example of the loony, left-wing, vindictive GOP going after a pure and Christian GOP administration:
