?? The Demarini zen is the hottest bat on the market for kids bats right now. But it's also 350.00 so not many swing it.

Let's not forget that Wilson is the parent company of DeMarini Sports, Inc.

Let a young kid hit one not right in cold temps, it will make them cry.

I am sure with older more consistent players it is a fine bat, but the younger ones have a tough time with it.

Hell, they all like the Cat7 more than even the higher end Maruccis cause it damn near doesn't vibrate.

True. Both of my boys swing maruccis. We are in Texas and the maruccis are very very popular here. Marucci taking over the baseball USA facility and all of their teams has also helped with that.

I am becoming a baseball gear junkie. My boy is eaten up with it. We did get a new set of catchers gear because my boy sweats a ton, we have two catchers and I felt terrible for the guy coming in behind him.

The players choose the bats. Marucci's wood bats aren't the same as their aluminum. For whatever reason the players chose Demarini.

For being a Baton Rouge based company you rarely hear about them. Are they ever going to be like Louisville Slugger or Easton?

Paul M gets $300k a year for LSU to swing Demarini and wear
Wilson gloves and Catchers gear. The Players get no choice in this. Bertman was always Easton and that was never going to change while he was AD etc. The Easton guy was sick when LSU changed but said the money being offered was crazy.

Wilson Gloves

The A2000 is a top tier glove used by a large amount of guy in the MLB.

The only other glove in its class is Rawling's Pro Preferred.

NCAA Compliance will not allow this. Its a conflict of interest. I used to work at a Power 5 conference in the compliance department.

Everyone keeps saying this. Is it impossible that other companies would also offer money for the Tigers to use their bats? Demarini can't be the only company paying, right?
Do they offer the most? I have no clue. Are they good bats? I truly don't think LSU would use shitty bats.
