Whatever brand you settle on be sure and get a set of six(6) point sockets!!
Six point have more contact with bolt/nut faces than 12 point and will not strip as easily.
Get both standard and metric as much new stuff is metric.
Have used Crafstman since early 60's and still use wrenches I purchased the. But
I have recently purchased some Kobalt from Home Depot, on sale cheap, that
I find to be pretty good tools.
Use the right tool for the right job and you will enjoy your work more.
