Kenneth Poindexter (6'4 188 lbs, Wide Receiver) Central Lafourche

Kenneth Poindexter II Highlights
I posted the video of our 6'4 receiver David Robinson the other day. This is our other 6'4 receiver. He's not quite as physical as David is yet, but he has a bit more speed and is getting better and better each year at learning how to use his size to his advantage.
I really don't think he's close yet to how good he can be. He plays basketball pissed off, once he brings that to the football field and puts on a bit more weight he's going to be a really good player for somebody.
Kenneth Poindexter II (Wide Receiver, Kick Returner)
- Class of 2018
- 3.7 GPA
- 6'4 188 lbs
- 4.48 - 40 Time
- 36 - Vertical
Junior Stats (6 Games)
- 41 Receptions, 580 Yards, 6 Tds
Sophomore Stats
- 25 Receptions, 429 Yards, 4 Tds
He was #6 or 7 in the state in receiving yards until week 6 when he injured his hand in the weight room. He missed the next two games and came back week 9 to catch 8 balls with his hand heavily taped. Then only was able to play a couple of snaps vs ESJ week 10 because he pulled his groin early in the game.

That's why I'm posting, so Tony Hull can get a look at him. If he lived a couple miles east he'd be at Hahnville and would have one already.

Get him to an LSU camp. It will be great competition and if he is really good then he could get an offer there.

Looks solid, thanks for posting
Is he getting any looks yet? Going to any camps this summer?

I feel confident we'll land this guy. He's in the 30 square mile area we have walled off in the state. Hull can't touch this area. Hopefully they can turn out 3-5 players a year.

Doesn't that include the marshes south of Dulac?

Actually, he looks like he has really soft hands. Catches very well over his shoulder.
Interesting player.
Im interested to see how he does this summer in camp.

Dunno, might take some convincing to get a Trojan to go play for a Tarpon.
