drafting quarterbacks from their junior year vs their senior year

Bill parcels always said he would only draft qbs that graduated from college. it's a trend i've always noticed and the senior QB's always tend to have a higher hit rate thent eh jrs but the jrs get drafted higher.
comparing from andrew luck's draft back to sam braodford draft the qbs takein in the first 3 rounds
Jrs
Andrew Luck - Hit
RG3 - Bust
Cam - Hit / Pro Bowl / NFL MVP
Ryan Mallett - Bust
Sam Bradford - Bust
Matthew Satford - Hit / Pro Bowl
Josh Breeman - Bust
Jamarcus Russell - Bust
Jake Locker - Bust
Blaine Gabbert - Bust
30% hit rate, 1 super bowl apparance between them all
Srs
Ryan Tannihill - Hit
Russell Wilson - hit / Super Bowl / Pro Bowl
Nick Foles - Hit / Pro Bowl
Colin Kaepernick - Hit
Andy Dalton - Hit / Pro Bowl
Tim Tebow - Bust
Jimmy Clausen - bust
Matt Ryan - Hit / Pro Bowl / NFL MVP
Joe Flacco - Hit / Super Bowl
Brian Brohm - Bust
Kevin O'Connell - Bust
Brady Quinn- Bust
Kevin Kolb - hit
John Beck - Bust
Colt McCoy -
a 53% hit rate, 2 super bowl wins, 3 super bown appareances between them and you get them later in the draft
really QBs are like the RBs. the geinus in what the cowboys did last year was taking the RB early depistie " you can get RBs any time" then taking the senior Dak in the 4th round
if i went back any further it just wouldn't be a fair fight. 3 of the 4 qBs in the divisional championhips were seniors when they were drafted. the last 8 super bowls have been won by senior QBs

What is the criteria to be considered a hit?

Kevin Kolb and Nick Foles are hits, but RG3 is not?
Kevin Kolb and Nick Foles are hits, but Sam Bradford is not?
Prime example of manipulating the "data" to say what you want it to say.

Kevin Kolb - hit

I hope you aren't serious on some of these.

If 3 of those seniors were not considered "hits", which would be perfectly reasonable, then the hit rate would be 33% and virtually the same as the juniors.

Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Mallett both spent 4 years in college, the same amount of time as some of those seniors.

You're very generous on your hits

At least post his rules. This is one of the reasons he liked Romo so much. He checked all the boxes.
His rules are as follows:
1. The quarterback must be a senior. . .because you need time and maturity to develop into a good professional quarterback
2. He must be a graduate. . .because you want somebody that takes their responsibilities seriously.
3. He must be a three-year starter. . .because you want to make sure his success wasn't a fluke and to know that he has been "the guy" for a significant period of time.
4. He must have 23 wins. . .because big numbers don't mean a whole lot if you don't win.

If Kaepernick is a hit, then so is Josh Freeman.

Ryan Tannehill a hit

Andrew Luck would meet each of those requirements, except being a "Senior." He was a RS Jr.
ETA: Jake Locker was also a Senior. So, in a surprise to no one, OP's premise is shite.

Don't see how luck is a hit

Operating on the binary "Hit/Bust" scale, I don't think you can say he's a bust so he'd have to be a hit.
Plus, he got the AFC Championship game once. 2015 was not good, but he just had a pretty good bounce back season.
