Web Traffic Monitoring

Hello All
I'm looking for a device that can be used to monitor all web traffic for a small business. I believe some people are spending too much time shopping and such. Does anyone have any experience with an Untangled Firewall or have any ideas that would work for us?
TIA

I sat through a presentation for Fortinet a few years ago. Not sure on the cost, but you might want to check it out.

seems like they would just use their phones for web searches and personal activity

Are you saying that you're a brick and mortar business and people are using too much of your Wifi?
Or are you an online presence receiving too much traffic?
Or are you a website that is trying to cut down on time on site to get conversions faster?

Sounds more like he is the owner of a small business with an office of a few employees that are playing on the internet too much.
No one help him, he is trying to keep people off TD.

Yes this is what I'm trying to accomplish. I'd like to see what they are looking at and possibly blocking some websites (not td, then I'd be screwed!)

Wireshark is probably more than you need, but if you are willing to learn it you can see pretty much everything going on as well as save it.
If you want to just be lazy about it you can install VNC on each computer and just pop up a window to spy on what they're doing from your computer.

enterprise options like fortinet, forcepoint, etc are going to be out of your price range most likely. Look into OpenDNS

wireshark? he wants to proxy internet traffic. wireshark is a packet analyzer bro
and that VNC suggestion isnt really feasible and introduces a pretty nasty security risk on every PC you install it on.

yea because paying people to come to the office and then just watching them frick off all day is how things get done
OP already stated people are taking advantage of the situation. this is what happens....

Perhaps op hired the wrong employees

Incentivize it. Say they'll get an extra $50 a paycheck if their internet has no personal searches and an extra $50 more if they leave their phone in their desks with exception of lunch. It seems to me the productivity of people working all day would outweigh the extra pay. Plus they'll be making the choice.

I don't think that's the answer.
Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't employees just use a vpn to hide their habits?

Would any of these options give me real time feedback. Could I log into a panel or dashboard to see current activity.
I know this sounds like I'd be snooping alot, but I'm dealing with people that are in a different location and I can't be there to look over shoulders. Also if I can see real time activity I can tell if they are actually in the office or working remotely from home.

Are you getting the production you thought you would? If so does the personal time matter? If you are getting less than desired than try it make it fun vs "I'm spying on you-- go find another job that doesn't spy on you--"
Seems like turnover and rehiring / training is more costly than keeping people happy and productive long term
