Railing about it on this rag is not the way to do it.

Actually, when you work in a service industry you run the risk of people speaking negatively about you. He is doing exactly what the general populous would want him to do. He is giving feedback so that Jim's can't hide behind their commercials. Only the bad managers / owners of a business wouldn't want people talking about their experiences in a business. Word of mouth is one of the best forms of advertising.

Here is the thing though. As an owner you should be aware that people will talk about your store / product. And with this will come some negatives. BUT if you are doing your job the positives will far out way the negatives and others will defend you with experiences of their own. Go back through the last 8 pages and let me know how that worked out for them.

I honestly can't recall a single positive anyone has ever told me about that place. Not from this board, not from my friends or family, hell not even from very close friends that have worked there. The only positive they have going for them is their firearm inventory size in a market that is lacking large gun stores with large inventory.

right on

and as the owner of that business you would want to know that, unless you just don't have to give a shite, in which case more power to him. I own a small business and if my customers talked about me the way they do jims I wouldn't sleep at night
