Were any of you at that game?

Yes, I was a freshman that year and was able to get there early and get a seat up in the upper deck.
The place was packed then and at every home game.

With Pistol Pete it was always showtime.

ETA his scoring line that night:
53 points (21-46, 9-11), 5 rebounds, and 12 assists.

How exciting for you guys to have been there at that game or any of them at that time! Must have been something else!!!

I couldn't care any less about anonymous downvotes or upvotes. They're meaningless other than for clicks for the board.

Sort of confusing that stat line considering no 3-pointers back then.

21 FG's made = 42 points
9-11 Free Throws = 9 points

Totaling 51 points

Still the GOAT
