Looking for a decent scope/red dot for AR

What rifle is it being put on? That is typically the most important criteria. For example, someone would be unwise to put a Trijicon ACOG on a DPMS Oracle - it costs almost twice as much as the gun.

Primary Arms micro dot or Holosun. Unless you are a scout sniper or special ops, those expensive ones are just just trophies on top of your gun.
