Back around 20 years ago Christian Life was the school that kids went to if they got kicked out of a private school. Is that still the case and if so will "The Church School" continue in that tradition?

THE Dunham School is the best school in Louisiana.

It would first depend on how many spots open up right?
I would say how talented you are at sports first. Seems like that's been going on a lot over there in the past few years.

I really think that if BR had a private "gifted" High school they could kill it in enrollment. They could charge more than episcopal and get away with it.

Yep, we had two guys get kicked out of St George and they just happened to end up at CLA.

My son is a baseball player.
Of those 4, he'll get the best coaching at UHigh.

Don't sleep on Dunham. It's not the same school it was 20 or even 10 years ago.
I'd take a tour before you decide.

It's a completely different campus than it was when I graduated in 07. I drove through it a year or so ago and didn't even know what I was looking at

If your kid is interested in computers/IT etc, Dunham's tech program is second to none in LA.

No. He is interested in going into Medicine. He is only in 8th grade so things can certainly change.

would think the only difference would be whether or not your son plans on playing sports.
sports is a big thing he will miss out on.
no baseball, football basektball, more nerdy guys, no fun parties or just boys being boys. no cheerleaders
catholic has a good baseball program

What are the OT's thoughts on quality of education at BRHS vs Episcopal, Dunham, U-High?
In terms of education, BRHS is a great school. The tradeoff is that your child has a lot higher chance of being socially inept.
