Who is your possible Saints 1st Rd Surprise pick?

At this point I would not call a QB a surprise. Just a confirmation of the end of the Brees era coming.
Otherwise, with Payton's lust for offense I could possibly see OJ Howard TE. He could possibly be on the top of their board at #11 too. Many of us gritted our teeth with the Fleener signing. His rep was for being soft and he only looked more that way to me. We're stuck with him at least one more year. Howard looks to have real deal all around threat potential. That would be a sick addition (along with Cooks, Snead, & Thomas) for a young QB to have in 2018 or 19.

TE class is pretty deep this year. I don't know about a TE at 11?

TBH, a poorly thought out plan that reminds me of Ryan Grigson's draft plans isn't really a surprise at this point.
Ill go with Cam Robinson with the idea to move this highly drafted OT to guard.

From the games I've seen him in, Cam seems pretty undisciplined.

ive watched EVERY game cam r. played at alabama, kept waiting for the LIGHT to come on.........im STILL waiting......if anything, he has regressed.......total bust.....

It's funny to me that his scouting reports frequently mention how often he holds, and how often he gets away with it.
He is on the ground a lot, which is a bad indicator. I think a lot of fans see him as the top tackle just because of his body, but I think teams will have him farther down their boards (late 1st To mid 2nd)
