All of the golf courses in south central La are struggling. None are guaranteed to survive. Here is a story on Grand Ridge (formerly Willowdale) efforts.

Golf in general is in decline. The local economy is just compounding the issue.

The economy is not the issue why Grand Ridge is closing.
