He's his former coach and it was still difficult to get him....

I think McMath will be a great player, too.

Good job, Juluke?

It'd be historically bad if Juluke lost McMath, Fat Goebbels.

Juluke's specialty is Louisiana. There werent any elite backs in Louisiana this year. He went all in on Akers and lost because of coaching uncertainty. This is hardly on Juluke.

As many including myself have said before, the RB coach position is one of the least demanding on-field positions. That's why it is paramount to have an ace recruiter in that spot. Frank didn't just bring in LA RBs. He ALWAYS had a big impact on our classes. We can't afford to have a guy who pulls this little weight at that spot. I mean, for all the shite that Peveto brought on the field, he recruited well enough to keep himself in a job for a while, and to quickly line up another one after.

Juluke needs to bring in more than 2 or 3 guys in a class, or we need to move on from him. Craig can't do it all.

Guys, if you just think of Space Cowgirl as Ponamsky it will all become clear.

Only a mentally handicapped lunatic could be dumb enough to believe I'm Ponamsky. So you keep demonstrating that you are even far dumber than I originally first thought you were. No wonder you are mostly always wrong all the time. You also have a God complex as well.

So you obviously think you could have recruited him in about half the time. By the way, we all know you blame Juluke for possibly missing on Etienne because you think he put all of LSU's chickens in the Cam Akers' basket. Well how do you think a brand new coach made that decision instead of Miles? Then Miles gets fired and there isn't anyone available to make decisions on the offensive side of the agenda until a new OC is hired. Meanwhile, the disarray that caused in the recruiting world turns off Cam Akers until Canada is hired and then Akers commits to Florida State a few days later. It's not all Julukes' fault, its Les Miles' fault for being incompetent and getting fired.

I don't blame him for Etienne. I just feel like he hasn't made a major impact as a recruiter yet which is why I think another year will truly show if he is valuable in this regard or not. In a transition year I'm certainly more capable of understanding.

Okay...who told you this? No one. You are just pretending like you know the inside scoop, but in reality you don't know anything. Like I said, I hope a stupid outsider never advocates for you to be fired even though like you they don't know a damn thing.

This is a message board to discuss lsu recruiting. Are we not supposed to discuss things like this? This isn't a message board to discuss my job. You really can't seem to grasp this concept and the fact I NEVER said I had inside info. What's the point of this board if we as fans can't discuss our opinions?

Give him time brag, I would imagine it's hard to make a rock solid connection with a big time recruit in less than a years time... JMO though

He clearly said 'I feel like'

Doesn't sound like he's pretending anything, just that he has his own opinion

So you don't think it was a serious mistake for LSU not to recruit Prescott early on as a QB?

Like I said, you admit you don't have the first clue what kind of job Juluke does, but nevertheless you want to advocate that he should be fired, because the truth means nothing, but jumping to conclusions with absolutely no evidence or facts whatsoever means everything, and it's also okay because this is a message board after all. That essentially is your argument in a nutshell. Well they don't call this place the rant for nothing. That's for damn sure. Go ahead, discus away while I roll my eyes and the insanity of this place.

For the most part I do keep politics our of sports, but when people make senseless moral equivalences it's kind of hard not to point it out. Nonetheless, no big deal, I know you can't help it.

You're operating on hindsight with Prescott. He was not a coveted recruit. State signs marginal kids all the time. In fact, that's pretty much all they do.

Oh okay, so it wasn't a serious mistake for LSU not to recruit Prescott as a QB...you're absolutely right.

He said he "feels" because like you, he obviously emotes because he is a liberal. Unlike me, who always uses his brain instead.

Yes, you've been the personification of emotionless, rational thought in this thread.
