No it's not, it's just twisting an agency to spout propaganda that suits your needs and censor what you want censored. Turning what shouldn't be political (other side is guilty too) into something political. Convince yourself otherwise though, fight that good fight.

I want the EPA abolished. Them being silenced is a distant second for me.
