I like the Chase

I like giving bonuses for drivers that win portions

My plan is get rid of win and in
I'd set the Chase field as such

Most wins
Most points
Winner of first half
Winner of second half

Then once those spots are filled top 6 left in points that did not qualify via those 4 stipulations get in to chase

Chase is 3 races cut 3. 3 more races cut 2. 3 more races cut 1

Last race winner takes all and top 4 positions in Chase get top 4 via points in Homestead

I think they should get rid of the Chase and have it where the winner of the race gets a lot more points than the 2nd place finisher. Also, not everyone gets a point.

It can be something like:
1st place - 16 points + 10 bonus points
2nd place - 15 points
3rd place - 14 points

.... and so on down until the 16th place finisher.

This would incentivize winning races while still making consistency important.
