NFL Playoff Format

They need to expand the playoffs to get rid of the byes. Teams that have to play 3 games instead of 2 just to get to the Super Bowl is very hard to overcome. I understand having home field and more importantly the bye but having to play an extra NFL game while the team waiting for you gets to sit back and rest is not in the best interest of competition.

NFL playoffs are perfect as is

Dallas came out in a coma after the bye and it hurt them IMO.

They need to expand the playoffs

The early round games have proven to be tough to watch. No need to have more of a potentially worse thing.

NFL playoffs have the most perfect format of any professional sport.

I like the format. Only thing that bugs me is when an 11-5 team who came 2nd in their division has to travel to a 7-9 division winner during wild card weekend.

That's the one thing I would fix, too. Same format in terms of who gets into the playoffs, overall record for playoff ranking.

Yeah I say expand to a 32 team NFL playoff

Had to log in to down vote.

I guess you want every team that makes the playoff to get a trophy too huh?

Don't like it? Win your division.

Let's reward a team for being shitty in a shitty division

Teams who win their division should get rewarded even if they have a worse overall record...by giving home field advantage to the team who came in second in their division because they have a better record is basically creating 2 divisional winners from one division and 0 from the other

I think they should get rewarded with an automatic playoff berth, not home field. The other team won more games.

What if one team would have been the 2 seed if they were in a different division and the other team had no teams with a winning record inside of their division?
