Which one of our new guys will have the biggest impact this season whether it being a pitcher or fielder?

1) Smith
2) Slaughter
2) Slaughter

I'm curious about this as well. I've read some things about Josh Smith and Jake Slaugher possibly contributing in the infield early, but that's really it.

Todd Peterson could also play a role on the pitching staff

Smith will see the field before Slaughter, but both will see PT this season.
We are so deep offensively and defensively, if we can find some guys to step up and create quality depth in the bullpen then this will be a very special year.

Don't sleep on Rankin Woley. He is a utility type player that has a solid bat. He can hold his own at 3rd base, 2nd base and catcher. He also got some looks at 1st base in the Fall. This team could use his bat in the line up, so look for CPM to turn to Woley should anyone one at the aforementioned positions struggle at the plate or (heaven forbid) have an injury.

From watching fall scrimmages, Josh Smith clearly stood out above the rest of the newbies...great hitter from left side and will probably be lead off batter. He also has surprising power. In the field he has great range and is as good a shortstop as I've seen recently, although 3rd base seems to be his position till next year.
