Kept hoping that with all of the good things happening for the city that this scum would eventually get priced out of the area.
Guess that's never going to happen though due to government subsidized housing.

Call me when the '94 record of 424 murders that year is broken...
Like I keep telling people when the NO violence is terrible now threads come up, It's like Mr Roger's neighborhood today compared to the early 90's...
Anyone remember the La Pizza Kitchen murders, when the city finally got sick of the violence and everyone protested which the police finally got a budget increase.. That's what's going to have to happen today...

Because if they don't break a previous murder record, everything must be under control right? The city can't be considered violent if it isn't a record setting year

Politics in this state are f'ed up. Both republicans and democrats. We need to start by electing a good governor

You must be under 20 bc chicago is what New Orleans used to be. New Orleans might just be reverting back to its old state

That is exactly what is happening and most of the subsidized housing is reverting back to the market. The real estate is to valuable right now.

My thoughts as well. Certainly Happening in parts of the city, but there are still pockets located next to every nice area that cause spill over crime. The thug on thug shootings in the east don't bother me as much... it's the uptown hold ups/home invasion that happened recently that should be alarming.

That's the shite these Liberal Mayors and Aldermen/women say, when confronted about crime.
I hear it in St.Louis, and have heard other Mayors give this BS speel
