Sad part is that a 33 Freeman has more fishing room than a 50+ ft sport fisher not to mention a 40knt cruise versus a 20 knt 
Give me a big center console over a sporty any day. Save the money from the sportfisher and buy a nice camp to come back to since you can run anywhere you want to fish on the Freeman and make it a day trip.
I never fished off a freeman but have owned a 27ft worldcat and if it rides any magnitude better than that hull you would be hard pressed to find something better for the GOM.

Not many sportfishers cruise at 20 knots, the 92 Viking can cruise over 30 knots. And if you are planning on just fishing one place all the time then a center console is probably best for that. but if you want to take your boat to more than one place then a sportfisher is nice. you can go to south florida, gulf coast, Bahamas, Bermuda, Carolinas, etc and have a boat and a place to stay.
