Bro having your thumb and hand in that position is about as natural as it gets. And he could have been faking him. As in, fake like he's about to stand up and sprint outside or something, and then just duck under the tackle.

Yep thats all it was. Its common knowledge that every sport in history was fixed at some point but its just crazy conspiracy kook talk that this could occur today with much more money on the line.
