One child dead , one injured.

I don't understand how why it is so difficult to keep these dogs locked up.

NB4 my pit bull is a sweet heart and would never hurt anyone.
Shoot the dog and the owner.

Wonderful dogs, they are just misunderstood.

Extermination of the breed is the only answer. Spay/neuter the ones that are left and let it run its course.

I understand this is very insensitive to a lot. I just don't see any other solution. You cant count on the owners, they have proved time and time again to be irresponsible.

Pitbull owners should be charged harsher than the owners of other dogs involved in an attack.

Similiar to assault vs assualt with a deadly weapon.

I'm not a pit bull advocate but I encounter them with some regularity and have never seen one get aggressive in any form.

Of course, I hang out at dog parks attended by responsible people, at friends' houses, etc., not in shitty ghettoes south of I-20.

It looks like they have a spelling bee to rely on to keep their minds off this tragedy.

ATLANTA - A boy has died and girl was seriously injured after a pit bull attack in southwest Atlanta. The attack happened around 7:30 a.m. on Cerro Street while the children were walking to F.L. Stanton Elementary School.

In 2015 two pits attacked my nieces and nephews and killed my parents cat. We called the police and the dogs attacked the police so they shot both of them. The owners said they were good dogs and the kids must have done something even though they came into my parents yard. I say shoot the pit owners and the dog when this kind of thing happens.

I'm not okay with trying to make these dogs become extinct. I have a friend who has a pit bull mix and it may be the sweetest dog I've ever seen. Great dog, but I am in favor of screening those who are owning pitbulls and making sure these dogs go into good homes

'But it was so sweet, trash owners..' blah blah blah.

Don't pitt attacks account for over 70% of dog attacks?

Dude should be in jail for doing that to children. WTF. And he has no remorse whatsoever. Unbelievable.
