this is a prime example of foolish leftists destroying a good thing and taking away a big part of what is good and "great" about America
taking the elephants away from the circus was a devastating blow
I bought 4 tickets to the Circus here in Birmingham, AL just a few days ago - I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive the tix were
I would have rather paid a little more and let my baby girl see the heffalumps...
had no idea this would be the last show ever
hopefully, an investor will swoop in and save the day
frick California. frick North Carolina (at least, frick the morons that run the big cities there - groups in LA & Charlotte forced the circus to not bring the elephants there before they were removed from the show)
this is a real travesty; we are losing another part of ALL of our childhood memories

One of my favorite memories was back in the late 1970's when my Mom unexpectantly showed up at school to check my sister and I out to take us to downtown Birmingham for the circus parade. She wouldn't tell us where we were going until we got to the car, I guess because it wasn't an acceptable excuse. Of course that made it all the more fun. I'm not sure if it was just a planned parade or if they had brought the animals in by train. The parade originated down 20th street near Morris Avenue and the route took them to the Civic Center. Previously a circus parade had just been something from childhood story books and it was cool to see the real thing.

Let us know how much you spend when you get in the door....they will give you tickets to get in the door to buy $20 bags of cotton candy.
I took my little girl to a Ringling Brothers show about 2 years ago and we spent about $300 for the 4 of us (my Son was 15 at the time so all he did was eat peanuts and drink cokes...at about %8 a pop!!!) after getting free tickets...ring side seats....because we showed up before the first night to see the elephants. They are experts at parting a fool and his money...not as good as Disney (those frickers might as well get your PIN and all of your passwords for as little as they will leave with you LOL).
I have always hated circuses and parades....I don't think Ringling and Brothers is a victim of animal rights activists as much as a victim of doing the same shite for 147 years....it was played in the 70's....my little girl couldn't have been less interested in the show...so the elephants stood on one another and the motorcycles went round and round inside a ball....have you seen YouTube, Netflix, or a video game in the last 20 years???? The only way the circus can compete with that shite is if the lions get out and eat all the rich fricks in the first couple of rows...otherwise todays kids just ain't interested....
Major League Baseball is the next to go....they have to have playgrounds in the stadium now to keep kids remotely interested and 99% of the baseball fans in the stands are texting and playing candy crush while the game is going on....times are changing.....circuses are a thing of the past.....

Have you been to a ringling brothers show? I went about 10 years ago and it was just absolutely boring. THe acts were stale and tired. Other circuses are booming - Circ De Soleil (sic) continues to expand and their product is fricking fantastic, and involves no animals.
Ringling brothers didn't keep pace with the times, this is why it was relegated to the dustbins of history.
