The Obama/Lynch justice dept. finishes probe into Chicago PD. Looks about the same as it did when it investigated the Baltimore PD.
I imagine it would be a scathing report if they investigated any PD in the United States. How is it possible to police violent, gang infested neighborhoods?

A kinder friendlier police force would curb the Chicago violence.

4,300 people were shot in Chicago last year.

Chicago is a killing ground.

How do you convince people that they have to dig deep and change the small things before the big things can be changed?

I don't see a way to end it easily.

"How can we help the city of Chicago overcome its racial tensions, its gang entrenchment, its historically high homicide rate, and its low LEO morale?"

"I know! Let's publish a 160-page report shitting on the CPD!"

Seven days.

1) Eliminate child tax credits for people on welfare
2) Eliminate Gun Free Zones
3) Stop subsidizing planned parenthood
4) Make HUD voucher-free
5) Get rid of policing regulations and let them do their job; stop-and-frisk is a good start

not much, but I bet it brings down the murder rate

I'd like to see someone..on record..ask all the repubs who voted to nominate her if they regret giving such a leftwing ideologue such power, and see if they try to justify it or not.

This report won't do shite to curb the violence in Chiraq. All it will lead to is record number of police resignations and less policing of the ghettos.

The gangs want to police themselves... may as well let them. Eventually, the people will grow weary of it and someone like the taliban will take over, then we can take out their leaders with precision air strikes.
Chicago police have never been easy like suburban police are, because it's not easy being a Chicago cop.
Would be nice if the government had their backs a little and said, yes there are always going to be isolated incidences in places with high crime rates of cops going too far, but we have their back.
If wrong doing can be proven by a cops actions, then prosecute the cop... Don't throw the whole department under the bus.

Wrong. You don't de-incentivize unplanned pregnancy through killing babies. You do it through de-incentivizing the benefits of having a child out of wedlock.

You're right! How dare the DOJ ask the police to follow the law!

Laws that privilege criminal acts and deviant behavior are unjust laws and therefore not laws at all.
