Sonny Amato in central. I was in his shop about two weeks ago to pick up some bobcats, he is the best ive ever seen. Every mount was perfect and he is a really nice guy.

on a side note he never mounted mallard like I request so he used the picture and it was spot on.

Yeah he sold it to Jeff Martin and now its Second to Nature, Ive heard alot of good things about Sonny Amato, strange guy but does good work

I paid $100, i won it at a silent auction at a du banquet
He charges $450 a bird I think. He's good at birds. Told me he rather do just birds

He charges that to weed out people yet people still bring him work...my guy is doing my other mount for 250$ but he said he's quiting to start doing fish mounts. Luckily I work with him and he will still do all my bird work.

Thanks it came out great, want something a little different then just flying or flushing. My other mount is going to be nice when he gets it done. Should have it by march

What is it? I didn't hunt enough to shoot a mounter this year but I'll probably do a woodie on a log or something for a table
