How can you put an image from one picture onto another?

I don't have photoshop, but is there a way to put an image (car, person, animal, etc) from one picture onto another and make it look like real? I have a two-fold reason - as a joke and also to show that it can really be done. Thanks in advance!

Just use Paint. Crop the part of a picture out, paste onto another picture.

The average person can mask and copy the car from one image and paste it in another. Making it look real is more difficult.
