Don't forget about Andre Anthony either. Our defense next year will be savage despite losing Beckwith and Adams, and that is downright scary.

I remember reading where he had been working out big time with someone in NOLA after he committed when he thought he would be joining the team last summer. The grade snafu with that defunct school was beyond his control. I believe he continued to work out on his own, and can now work out with the team. Not sure how big right now, but safe bet he will be bigger than the 210-215 he was in high school when we get to spring practice. Believe he is using the delay in getting to play as motivation, and I think he will be one of the biggest surprises going next season. Believe I also remember he only played a couple of years of HS ball, which is why he wa a bit of a sleeper prospect when we signed him. Ton of talent, fast and very smart. Aranda will make good use of him.

Yep you're probably right about his weight.. usually in a situation like his, the strength and conditioning staff will basically give him the same workout program that the rest of the team is doing since he wasn't injured or anything, he just has to do it on his own..
pretty sure that would apply to him in this situation, the dude was a beast in HS

Ya think? Maybe it is because all the recruits are kids and enjoy playing people...and we have a bunch of kids as fans who lap this bs up. Me, I hope he comes, but tweet means zero to me.

K'Lavon is a good kid and a good student. I don't see him playing with with people. He knows how big a decision this is. I want him to go where he feels most comfortable. That being said, he knows I'm a big LSU fan and there's plenty of both LSU and UT influence around him here in east Houston. Good thing is, Eric Monroe came back to North Shore yesterday and I'm sure he's doing his best to get him to join him in BR.
