Prosecutors aren't paid by the defendants. Neither are private defense lawyers in this case. They are NOT a public defenders wet dream though. I pity the son of a bitch who is appointed as their counsel.

Any half witted public defender would try to plea down. Unfortunately the prosecution May be overworked and willing to accept the plea. God I sure hope not.

Not really. Now they'll be raised by the same shite parents that raised all these animals. I'm assuming most of them came from different families and aren't related. That means 4 or 5 parents completely failed at parenting. The parents to those parents were probably equally as shitty to allow their kids to become such awful parents. It's a vicious cycle with no easy fix.

Don't bet on it. No matter how well a child is raised, they can stray. My second cousins, two brothers and a sister, brought up in an upper middle class Christian household... One brother and sister are model citizens. Professionals, excellent parents, have never committed a crime in their lives. Neither have their parents. Their younger brother though, he's been in trouble his entire life. Got into drugs hanging with the wrong crowd and he'll never be right. Even the best of parents can have a fricked up kid.

I understand that but this is 4 or 5 sets of parents that have a seriously fricked up kid. Not like a kid that is an alcoholic or a drug addict. This was much worse than any of that.
Oh and I see what you were responding two with the two year old comment, didn't realize the ridiculousness that guy was saying. Obviously shouldn't harm the poor children but damn do they face a seriously uphill battle. The odds are most certainly against them making something of themselves.

You just don't get it.
This is societal distillation.
When you destroy the family through the "great society" and increase and encourage the breeding of the absolute lowest common denominators, the ones with any sort of talent or smarts will rise up and leave the filth.
What's left after all these generations are the dregs. And they are breeding at phenomenal rates (because working folks are forced to pay for their breeding and feeding). They won't get better unless you completely dismantle the culture that has produced them.
So what is easier and better for society as a whole? Stopping the cycle of irresponsible breeding and letting the problem element gradually die off?
Or allowing it to bloom and breed and grow until the only solution is one of widespread blood and death?
Look at history. THAT is what awaits. It's happened before and will happen again and no path is kind.
But unchecked the path is widespread death and destruction and rivers of blood.
