If he goes 8-4 next year with all the stuff you previously mentioned, his stock will still be rising, not vice versa

Can you give an example of a hot coaching candidate whose stock stayed relatively high after taking a step back in the MAC? The only one I can think of is maybe Turner Gill and he ended up at Kansas.

Fleck would have to beat USC or even MSU to keep his stock up. Or at least win the MAC again.
