At the end of the hunt on Monday, my buddy's A400 wouldn't drop the sells out of the magazine so he was unable to remove the shells. By pulling back the bolt, he was able to eject the one in the chamber, but when he presses the float button that usually drops a shell out of the magazine, nothing happens. Has anyone encountered this?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Does it still cycle when normal shooting?

May need a cleaning, or just have to bust off 3 at the end of each hunt for the rest of his life. His choice.

Does it have a magazine control lever on left side? My browning gold has a lever that will "lock" the rounds in the magazine, that allows you to switch the round in the chamber with a separate shell by hand. For instance if duck hunting and a hog runs up, you can toggle the lever, eject the shell, and load a slug / buckshot etc without disturbing the duck loads in the tube.

Can he not manually depress the shell stop to release the shells from the mag?
