Got a new house with a huge room, just for this purpose.
Want to hang about 10 of my favorites, for easy access.
13 bucks each for the string swings, considering what they are, seems a bit much.
You guys got any hacks that work for y'all?

I keep all mine in locked cases in locked closets. I don't like to advertise what I have. I've known too many shady people.

New house is literally next door to the police station. Mayor lives on the other side, and chief of police, directly across the street(both are pretty cool guys, mayor is a hot rod guy,COP is a gun guy).Very small country town.
Have a safe for my guns, but I prefer to leave the guitars out,so I can just grab the one that I feel like playing. Not having to get it out of the case,etc..
The easier it is,the better, besides, they are all insured.

Dean dixie rebel

Man I have a Dean performer series guitar, that I picked up for 100 bucks a few months ago. Very surprised how well it plays and sounds, also has great clean electronics.
I leave that one sitting on a stand. It stays in tune, and looks beautiful. Money well spent.

Maybe a funny story here: Guy I know, wanted to sell me a guitar he has. Said it is a Martin, but when he described it,didn't sound like any Martin that I know of...so I kept after him to send me some photos of it.
He finally sent them yesterday, the guitar was actually one of the Dean stylist semi-hollow jazz things, beautiful guitar though, really cool looking.. flame maple top..but that aint what I'm about.
So I call him and say:
"You didn't tell me that it's a Dean Martin".
My brother was standing close by and spit out his coffee laughing.

Side question. Fender Telecaster. Those things ever fall through one of those wall hanger hooks? The headstock is skinny. I've walked away uneasy a few times after putting a telecaster back on the wall. Lol

I use a mix of Hercules wall hangers, traditional tube stands that support lean-back behind the neck and Fender folding stands that support lean-back behind the body.

If you go with any wall hooks or a wall peg/track system, used hard, robust screws going into studs. Go buy nicer, possibly thicker and/or longer, screws separately if you feel the need. I don't trust plastic drywall inserts with heavy instruments or in the case of track systems, sharing the weight of multiple instruments.

Be mindful of HVAC ducts too, particularly in the case of acoustics. An acoustic hung point-blank under a central heating duct WILL in due time suffer serious humidity issues, ranging from bowling soundboards and cracked woods to lifting bridges due to compromised adhesives.

Me and my brother were just talking about this.
The room that I have to work with, has a very rustic look/vibe/feel,..like a Viking Grand Hall or something.. I want to stay away from an industrial look, but maybe use some of the ideas, sticking with crown molding and brass/copper.
I want to hang them high enough,so I can have couches/chairs beneath.
I like the idea: being able to slide the hangers, into a rack, and if I need more room, twist them and hang them at an angle.
