Noah Cain. 2019 #1 back out of Guyer in Texas. LSU should be calling him daily

“My top school is LSU and that’s where I want to go,” Franklin said Sunday at the High School Football Network’s 7-on-7 at Liberty Park in Madison. “I love all the schools and all the coaches, but at the end, you can only pick one.” The 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back is hopeful an offer from LSU is on its way; Franklin is a fan of Leonard Fournette – there aren’t many high school running backs who aren’t – and grew up rooting for the Tigers. “It’s been a school that I have always been wanting to go to and I’ve been liking it for a real long time, since I was little,” Franklin said. “Being a Tiger right now, and then staying a Tiger, that’d be great, too. I wouldn’t have to get used to any other colors.”

Are there any big time backs in Louisiana next year on the level of a Devin White, Ettienne, or Guice?
They are all different levels - what level are you referring to?

ducre and and devin white would be a nice addition to be rb. i think ducre is currently a fb on lsu roster. need to use that guy, he was fantastic in hs. think ducre had like 40 or more td as a senior in hs.

splitting hairs,, but I would rank them #1 Guice, #2 Etienne, #3 White. So are there any at the level of Etienne/Akers next season?

According to a friend of the family LSU is in very good shape. Still a long ways out but encouraging to hear.

If you don't know the difference between Akers and Etienne, no real point in discussing further. It is not anywhere close.

Not anywhere close? How can you make that statement? Have you seen Akers or Etienne play in person? I however, was fortunate enough to see both of them play. I watch Akers play aginst Warren Central. Not bad but not impressive either. I'm not sure he had much more than 100 yards rushing. He did complete a lot of passes and extend the play with his legs. But like I said nothing impressive. Nothing that made you say yeah this kid is the best player on the field and one of the top players in the nation. A few weeks later I watched Etienne play aginst Brusly. First half of the game he looked like Akers not bad but no wow factor. The second half was a different story. He was by far the best player on the field. He had 250+ on no more than a dozen carries. Plus a 70+ kickoff return for a TD. Now I know that this is not an entire body of work but of the times that I saw Akers and Etienne play. Etienne looked better by far.
