Lamar Jackson's Ankles

I recall seeing an episode of Sports Science once, which highlighted an athletes tremendous pressure on the ankles of an athlete who had tremendous "cut back" ability.
When I watch Lamar run, his has to be the most explosive cuts imaginable, and this - along with his decisiveness, vision and instincts - makes him the special threat that the Tigers and Aranda face in a few hours.
How does Aranda scheme for this dude?
It's going to be fun to watch. I would love to be a fly on the wall to see Aranda's prep and scheme to fill the lanes with obstacles, and to aid the Tigers to take the best angles on him, and to make good fundamental tackles.
This guy is special. But so is Aranda and the Tigers.
This is going to be perhaps the best matchup to watch in all of the bowl games.

Aranda's scheme for LJ will most likely be predicated on our defense's speed.
Think back to how we shut down Johnny Manziel. I think you will see something similar to that type of scheme today.
Lamar Jackson is still a very unique and special player and he will still makes plays here and there against us. However, I think our defense does enough to help us pull out the W.
Our defense will be a good preview for LJ to experience what it'll be like on Sundays for him when he eventually makes it to the league.
LSU 35
UL 31
Geaux Tigers!

Manziel had damn good cut back ability too. They shut him down with Chavis as DC.

LJ could go off but college defenses have seen a lot more mobile QB's lately than in the past. That alone is a tremendous help.
Team speed will be the biggest difference. Just like JM contain the outside, don't over pursue from the DE's and keep push up the middle. Make him beat you with his arm. It helps having weeks to prepare. If we cannot do it today we never would have--the set up for LSU is perfect-lets see how good our DC really is.

I think LJ will get to spend a lot of time running from #49

Who would win in a cage match between Lamar Jackson's ankles and Keiland Williams's calves?

His ankles are stronger than LF's

Got to make tackles in open space and eliminate big runs. He will make plays and he will get his yards.
