I was told the same thing last weekend by some pretty reputable sources.
I don't see what the big deal is with dog hunting. If done right, it can be tons of fun and not intrude on the neighbors. I'm thinking when they bring it back, the dog hunters will be a little more cautious of their actions since they now see how easily it can be taken away from them.

I think dog hunting is great, but I think too many of the people who hunt dogs have left a bad taste in everyones mouth.

are your reputable sources within Weyerhaeuser, the Louisiana sportsmans alliance group, or some other organization? i have been told this too even before this apparent newsletter came out, but not from anyone that is actually part of the decision making process...
