I looked into this. Chik fil a has sponsored the game since 1997 and interestingly enough the game has NEVER been played on a sunday.
Edit: not played on a sunday while chik fil a is sponsor. that is as far back as i went.

NFL games are on Sunday this week so no to only one bowl. That and ESPN with the TV contract.
