I have 3 pair of Ariat boots, the most comfortable are the work hog H2O, have walked miles in those and no discomfort, not dressy at all. I got these Frye Wayde Engineers last year, the non-zip version, very comfortable once broken-in.

I bought some Dan Post a few weeks ago and love them.

I had a pair of Tony Lama boots that wore out after a year. I also have a pair of Justin boots that I've had for about 7 years that are still going strong.

BTW, I can't stand the broad square toe boots like this on dress boots. shite is ugly.

Don't care for roper heels either except on a few boots like this.

Snipped toe or regular square toe is the way to go.

Got new Chippewa recently. A little wide and a little short in the instep.

Gonna water soak them, wear them, and see if I can improve the fit. Quality seems good.

I'm wearing Justin's to work now. Ariat is a good choice too. I also have a pair of carharts that are second to none in comfort.
