What they fail to understand is, President Trump campaigned to win the EC as he should have. It's the way presidential elections have been decided for 200 or so years, right?
In fantasyland/bizarro world, had he needed to win the popular vote, he would've simply adjusted his campaign strategy and STILL won by a landslide.

Yup. It's been shown trump concentrated on winning swing states and HRC had Donna Brazile which concentrated on turning out minorities in cities that were located in deep blue or red states. It got her the PV but not the electoral.
They took the electoral for granted thinking they'd win it anyways and didn't want to lose the popular

Yep fully believe if we did something dumb like made popular vote matter then he just adjust and wins easy.
