I'm coming around to the trade Jrue side, mainly because I think we can get something of value for him.

Also, I'm starting to think we should hold onto Reke, if he is healthy, and if he would commit to running the 2's. This assumes he would sign a team/cap friendly deal. My 0.02.

If Reke is somewhat healthy we can keep him for almost the same price he has now. Trade Jrue keep Reke

I'd say hold onto Reke for two main reasons.

1. We won't get anything of value for him.

2. Who in the hell is out there that has talent, can create their own shot and would sign with us?

Because had Demps traded Ryno and Gordon like a good GM would have, Houston might not have been able to sign them. And then there was that time Demps believed Morey when he said he'd pay Philly to take Asik rather than take less than a 1st for Asik from the Pels. Morey does kind of owe Demps.

Holiday/Asik for Lavine/Pek

I would like that.
Yeah Pek is worthless and literally can't play, but that's really not that much worse than Asik sitting on the bench most games. And at least Pek only has 2 years left on his deal. he might even be somewhat of an asset next year as an expiring.

I like Jrue, but I don't want him for $20+ million a year, and i'd like to get younger. Lavine is in his third year but is younger than Buddy. yeah he'll get a big pay day in 2 years, but he'll probably be worth it. Jrue would help the TWolves get some experience.

I doubt they would go for it, but i'd be all for it. not sure that helps us tank this year though.

Because "basketball reasons"? Because "poppa stern and step poppa silver said so"?

Tyson Chandler for Tyreke's expiring so PHX can clear some cap for their young players. NOLA would turn into the new lob city. AD and Tyson catching oops all day off the PnR.

I like the Nerlens one too, but I think we'd have to take back 3 years of Jeryd Bayless or Ilyasova to make it work.
