They updated a small number of their stores to match the overwhelming majority of the rest.

Sure, call that a win if you need it that bad.

Eight years ago they were singing "na na na hey hey hey goodbye" as the Bush helicopter flew over the White House, eight years before that they were trashing the White House and stealing furniture as they left.

This is how The Left rolls. They are psychologically unable to restrain their fear and anxiety. I think it's high time for you, Psych and I to offer our highly-coveted professional mental health services to many on this board. Our theme could be " constructive coping strategies" or "bed-wetting cessation techniques"-depending on how you want to approach it.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea.

I agree. It's an easy reach to make if you want it bad enough.

The dixie chicks were aggressively obnoxious. This dude would merely be appearing with a political opponent.

figures a dumbshit lib wouldn't see the difference.

Boycott everybody who ever appeared anywhere with clinton!

That would be fricking stupid.

well there is a legitimate difference in making a political statement and just doing your job as a performer, but it's not a huge point. i already addressed your point before you even made it in this thread

nobody is saying their boycott should be ILLEGAL. it's just an example of their intolerance and borderline insanity

ok then conservatives are intolerant and borderline insane when they boycott something for a political reason too, right, RIGHT???

it could be argued that simply accepting the gig is a political statement.

personally i don't really care. i've never boycotted anything over politics and i'm not going to start now. However, it's the absolute height of hypocrisy to pretend this only happens on the left.

that depends on the behavior in question

but major conservative boycotts aren't very common. the problem progs face is that they pull this move SO MANY TIMES it loses a lot of credibility. they're doing this with EVERYTHING associated with Trump, basically.

no. no it can't

can you name a political issue that he's weighed in on to be a political lightning rod? he's not ted nugent, for example. he has no political capital

he's not even American.

quote:

However, it's the absolute height of hypocrisy to pretend this only happens on the left.

it just happens a LOT more on the left nowadays

when was the last major conservative boycott? you brought up the Dixie Chicks. that was like 10 years ago
