Saints should just tank

They need to tank the rest of the season and get a better draft pick but knowing payton he would probably trade away the pick or draft a position they dont need

Armstead to IR. Vacarro taking the suspension.
It doesn't seem like they're going all out to win these last few games.

After watching last 2 games...How will we know if they're tanking ?

They don't need to tank. They are going to lose out, even if Atlanta rests their starters for most of the game.
Having a draft pick from 6-8 will be nice.

Shake the down votes. Anyone who would trade a few meaningless wins for a top 10 pick needs their head examined.
There's literally no argument you could make to justify winning these games if there's no chance at the playoffs.

There is an argument.
CSP wants as many wins as he can get for his career stats.
Individual players play for their stats which equals more money for them in future contracts.

Those are arguments, but it doesn't make them valid when you are trying to improve the franchise.

Yep shut Brees down for the season & let them youngstas and others play to see who stay on the team next year.
Plus we gotta finish worse than Carolina, i heard the Mock Draft got Leonard Fournette to the Panthers.

As long as brees is healthy he should play to improve chances of breaking those yd and yards career categories. If hurt at all sit him.

Except there is a chance at the playoffs.
What happened to not giving up until its mathematically impossible to get in? Did we forget the early 2000s?

Mathematically sure, be realistic though.
What have you seen in the past few weeks that suggests we will win out?

Nothing in the past few weeks. A lot in the first several games. This team has potential to beat anybody in the league if they put it all together.
It's not likely at all, but once you get in the playoffs, especially if we could get a 1st round home game as #4 seed, nothing else matters. I'll hope they tank when there is no other way to get in.

You don't have to tank when you're not that good.

1st time I ever heard this before. Not

How in the frick are we going to get to the playoffs? Are you not watching the games? We are out. Give it up.
Vaccaro and Armstead are out. Tampa and Atlanta win 1 game and this math shite is out the window. ZERO chance at playoffs. Maybe next year, and if not then the Brees/Payton era is over.

when I'm watching a team who has nothing left to play for... I look for pride.
the players who keep playing hard anyway.
I don't necessarily give a shite if we win for here on out but I think its a good thing when you have guys who play hard even when the season is dunnzo.
