I am so thankful for my chosen job, its challenges, and its perks. Now, let the idiots come out of the woodwork...or cyberspace...and complain about teachers! Lol

I've got no problems with teachers. You all provide great comedic value when you get all sanctimonious about how hard your job is.

Don't get out until Wednesday

I'm getting obnoxiously drunk at the faculty party and sleeping on a couch

I mean...teachers are pretty annoying on social media. They probably complain more than anybody else about their jobs. I'm not anti-teacher at all, but it can be a little annoying.

Taught 16 years loved the time off, hated that all I could afford to do was take naps.

Enjoy your much deserved break, you're doing God's work (this is written with the assumption you don't fornicate your students).

No one complains about teachers out of the blue. It's when teachers start complaining about "school starting back up" and "i had to stay at school until 430 today, arghhh!!!" is when people begin complaining about teachers.

And, FWIW, not all teachers complain about their job.

Only a few of the teachers I know complain, but the ones who do are annoying. They bitch about being underpaid then brag everytime they get off.

One just posted the other day on FB about how she can retire next year at 43 b/c it'll be her 20th year. I just and want to tell her good luck with that.

I teach and coach as well. Teaching isn't that difficult minus the mountains of paperwork and BS we have to do to appease the gubment.

Coaches are the ones who really put the extra work in. When teachers complain about a meeting until 430, the entire football staff laughes. "4:30?! That's an early day for us."
