There is no war on Christmas. Nobody gives a shite what you do on December 25, and even if they did, they would want you to do whatever it is that you like to do.
Ad campaigns are strategies to make money. If "Happy Holidays" sells more than "Merry Christmas," that isn't an act of war, and anyone who thinks it is is a giant narcissistic pussy just like the SJW he constantly bitches about. Sorry that you need a safe space from people who aren't the exact same as you. Be a man.

ballscaster, you often make some intriguing, thought-provoking points. But you sometimes gloss over some pretty important facts on the way to your conclusion.
1) I agree with you, "war on ___" is an overused term.
2) Of course a fair amount of what has happened with "Christmas" as a term is due to marketing and sales decisions.
However, if you are ignoring the hostile attitude that has infected portions of our society towards belief in God, Christianity, "Christmas" as a term, and so on, including some fearful (or hateful) marketing execs... I mean, please dude... you are WAY off here.
