I've had a day in hospitals for myself and dealing with major family illnesses, a hit and run and other fun.

I don't have the energy to respond to this FB comment, which was to my FB post pointing out the ridiculousness of Dems thinking we should "investigate" Russian influence on election and try to prevent Trump from taking office. He isn't really a friend, so I DGAF, but would like y'all to hammer this for me, as a favor. TIA!!

are you saying you think that it is acceptable for an adversarial country with competing interests such as Russia to meddle in our presidential election specifically to get one candidate elected? And that one candidate received 2.7mill less votes than the Russian supported candidate yet the Russian supported candidate still won the election with the help of fake news stories and carefully placed email dumps courtesy of the Kremlin. Can you imagine what you right wingers would be saying if you were on the other side of this boondoggle of an election? And now this arse-clown reality star is nominating Putin's buddy and hardcore old school Exxon oil executive to be our next Secretary of State..hard to understand how an educated person could be ok with this. I know you are partial to the far, far right wing political views but this is even a bridge too far for Mitch McConnell who is calling for a bi-partisan investigation.

electoral college functioning as designed. Kudos for noticing.

fake news stories

latest democrat talking point, laying the foundation for the stifling of freedom of speech. Tread carefully.

carefully placed email dumps

If the Democrats weren't involved in such slimy underhanded business, the emails wouldn't have made a bit of difference. It was the content which caused outrage, so stop pointing your finger at the (alleged) messenger. How we got the emails makes zero difference, it is what is in them that matters. We the people have the right to know when our politicians are engaged in such nefarious activities, and I don't give a rats arse who exposes them.

I love how seven people have already responded and not one person can even give a halfway respectable rebuttal. Maybe it's because there's a lot of truth in what your friend posted.

Sorry about your and your family's health problems.
Hope things turn around for you.

So you're upset someone exposed the left's rampant corruption via actual, real emails?

First, question him on this

are you saying you think that it is acceptable for an adversarial country with competing interests such as Russia to meddle in our presidential election specifically to get one candidate elected?

I mean, what is going to say? The CIA put out a "report" that isn't wholly believable.

Next, question him on this:

quote:

And that one candidate received 2.7mill less votes than the Russian supported candidate yet the Russian supported candidate still won the election with the help of fake news stories

There is no direct proof that this is true, merely that the fake news claims it to be true.

It's time for people to quit believing everything they see especially concerning the PE.

Then link him to this LINK

We can never work with the Russians although we gave them 100,000 trucks, 4,000 tanks and thousands of aircraft during World War Two.

While I agree tillerson has a strong relationship with Russia I don't believe that to be a terrible thing as long as he isn't working toward Russian interests or his own. However he's not old school oil exec he understands climate change is real.
