Saban and his staff are great salesmen. It's a "Business" decision, but if these guys stopped to look around, those 2 or 3 players each year could go to LSU and have the same result.

Part of the reason for hiring O was he would keep the recruiting class together.
He had 2 decommits and completely botched the commitment of Myles Brennen

It'll work out....Saban & Bama are at the top right now. This could have been avoided by firing Miles last year.

Bama made a huge effort to get Pooh Bear. I am a die hard Tiger fan, but I am also a fan of this young man. He is humble and comes from an outstanding household where his mother put in the work. Say what you please about him, it's your opinion, but this kid has been a star since high school on the football field, basketball court and off the field.
It's about competing year in and year out to win the ultimate prize and LSU is lacking in that department right now. He would make it to the next level if he played a Grambling State. He is in the gym working when others are talking about what they should be doing. He chose a stable environment.

Coach O is in a bad spot currently! how do you stop a kid wanting to win championships every year? Alabama is selling them that . How does O compete with that when Les MIles ran this team into mediocrity. These kids already have their Championship rings in their minds. If bama was not in the SEC and not relatively close to LA coach O would have a much easier task but
it is what it is.Next year Coach O will have the chance to Make LSU relevant again and Make LSU relevant again to Top instate talent if not this will become a trend.
